Flomax, Alna, Josir, Pradif, Secotex, Urolosin, Mecir (tamsulosin). Indicated for the treatment of Lower urinary tract Symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostate hyperplasia and available since 1996 as capsule controlled release formulation in the main world markets. Starting in 2005, a new tablet formulation based on the OCAS (Oral Controlled Absorption System) technology has been made available in many European markets and in Canada.
Benicar (olmesartan) is in a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Benicar keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. Benicar is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and children who are at least 6 years old. It is sometimes given together with other blood pressure medications.

 

ARICEPT (donepezil HCl) is a prescription medicine to treat mild Alzheimer’s disease (up to 10 mg/day) and moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease (up to 23 mg/day). Before starting on ARICEPT 23 mg/day, patients should be on ARICEPT 10 mg/day for at least 3 months. The starting dose of ARICEPT is 5 mg/day and can be increased to 10 mg/day after 4-6 weeks. Baclofen (brand names Kemstro and Lioresal) is a derivative of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). It is primarily used to treat spasticity and is under investigation for the treatment of alcoholism. It is an agonist specific to mammalian, but not fruit fly (Drosophila) GABAB receptors.Its beneficial effects in spasticity result from actions at spinal and supraspinal sites.
